Jamie prefers 1 hour lessons for all students 8 years of age and older. In this time she spends 30 minutes teaching piano and 30 minutes teaching theory. 1 hour lessons are not necessary for students under 8 years old and 30 minute lessons are available. Jamie teaches on a flexible schedule.

Teacher Info: Jamie is a classically trained pianist who has been playing piano for 19 years. She has an associates degree in music for piano concentration from Alvin Community College. She has been teaching piano for 2 years and uses theory as a strong foundation when teaching any style of piano. Jamie has also been singing for 10 years and is very active with the praise and worship team at her church. She is a young, fun, laid-back teacher who creates such an environment where students feel completely comfortable and are able to learn at their own pace.
