Teacher Info:Charlie Carlisle is a well-seasoned and knowledgeable percussionist specializing in drum set studies. This Houston based drummer has over 17 years of professional experience. Charlie has played with a wide variety of local groups and even country music star Clay Walker. During Charlie’s touring career, he had the privilege of sharing the stage with many well-known bands like Breaking Benjamin, and the Foo Fighters (to name a few). He has extensive experience participating in college level bands, percussion ensembles, steel drum ensembles. He has also studied with several prominent percussionists such as the late great Joe Raynor, Ray Dillard, Michael Mizma, and Michael Spiro. Currently, Charlie still plays many shows a week with The Crisis and is ready to pass on his knowledge and experience to anyone who is passionate about learning drums and percussion.
