Clear Lake Music Lessons ?
At Clear Lake Music Lessons, we provide high quality music education. All of our
teachers are interviewed and accepted to our faculty based on their
dedication to teaching, experience and educational background. We
work with your specifications to give
you the teacher that best fits you or your child’s needs. All of our teachers are professional musicians, which mean they have years of experience playing with professional bands in all types of venue's and styles. Back to top
How do I
schedule lessons?
You can schedule
lessons throughout the year. Call our friendly staff, send us an email mailto:lessons@clearlakemusiclessons.com,
or use our contact
form or sign-up online. We will get back to you within one business day. During
our first phone call, we’ll discuss the instrument to study, the
experience of the student (i.e. beginner, etc.), the time
availability for lessons, and other particulars so we can choose a
teacher that best suits your needs. You can
usually have a lesson scheduled within 7 days or sooner! Back to top
Do you offer free introductory lessons?
We do not offer free introductory lessons. However, during your first lesson you are required to pay the teacher for the first lesson and may wait till the next lesson to pay the registration fee. This gives you the
opportunity to meet the teacher and see if clear lake music lessons will work for you.
After your first introductory lesson, you will be required to pay the $15.00 registration fee before your second lesson. Back to top
How long are
the lessons?
Lessons are available in 30 & 60 minute sessions. 30 minute lessons are suitable for
younger and/or beginners while 60 minute lessons are
appropriate for older children and adults. Lessons are given once a

Is the lesson always on the same
day?
In terms of scheduling for our teachers, the lesson
time and day should be kept consistent. If you have to change the
day on an occasion, please consult with your teacher. Back to top
Do you have a lesson cancellation
policy?
We have a 24 hour/One daylesson cancellation policy. If
you inform the teacher at least 24 hours/One day before the scheduled
lesson, you won’t be charged for the lesson and will be eligible for a make-up. You will be charged for
a lesson if you cancel in less than 24 hours/One Day.

What about Holidays, bad weather, or
illness?
Lessons won’t be charged if the teacher cannot
get to the studio due to weather or if the teacher is ill. If the student is ill, the 24 hours
cancellation policy applies. Lessons can be scheduled around holiday
and vacation breaks. Speak with the teacher in advance to schedule
lessons around vacations and holidays. Back to top
How much do
lessons cost?
Currently lesson rates are $25 per 1/2 hour + a one-time $15.00 registration fee per family. Back to top
How are lessons
paid for?
Lessons are paid for directly to your teacher by cash or check. Most teachers prefer to be paid for the full month of lessons each month.
Other payment schedules are possible, talk with your teacher if other arrangements need to be made.
Lesson payments may be paid by Credit or debit card. However, Clear Lake Music Lessons charges an additional 10% processing fee on the amount of lessons charged. Back to top
Is there a lesson termination
policy?
Students may cancel their lessons at anytime by
calling the studio or calling their teacher. As a
courtesy to the teacher, we ask that you give a two week notice. We
cannot provide a refund if lessons are cancelled midway through a
lesson cycle. Back to top

What if I want lessons in my
home?
Some of our teachers may be available for in-home lessons.
Lesson rates for instructors to come to you are usually $40.00 per 1/2 hour. Depending on location, time and day, the rate may be lowered or raised. Most of our teachers teach only at our studio or other schools and do not teach lessons in home. Back to top
What if I don’t have an instrument or need
supplies to get started?
At Clear Lake Music Lessons, we
can provide beginner string instrument packages and guitar packages that
can be shipped right to your home. We also can order sheet music, lesson books and accessories as needed by our students or required by
their instructors. Please call our studio for further ordering

Studio
Hours
Our studio hours are between 3 pm
and 9pm, Monday - Friday and 10am - 8pm saturday. We are closed sunday. Please do not hesitate to call us
regarding your lessons, teacher, or questions/suggestions. We would
