He has been teaching guitar for many years and is fluent in multiple genres including classical. David currently performs in the Houston area with several bands ranging in styles from rock to funk/R&B. He customizes his lessons to fit the needs of the student, but emphasizes technique and an understanding of music theory.

Teacher Info: Eric Tatum has been performing solo acoustic finger style guitar in most of the high end establishments in and around the Houston area for more than two decades. As well as other live band performances in cassical, jazz, and all rock styles from classic rock to current modern material. Eric has students from true beginners to many current professional musicians that have studied with him for many years. Eric believes that the challenge of a good teacher is to find how you as a student learns best. And not to force students into preconceived lesson plans.
